No, there's no OMGWTFBBQ feature in any TS3 mod. Yet.Not quite on the subject of quads, but on the subject of baby/pregnancy modding.I have a vague memory of you asking if it was possible to change the pregnancy buff so that it doesn't give a +20 mood bonus. I think on another site.
I'm pretty sure I've figured out how to do it, though only in a 'change the value for every pregnancy' way. It's a pretty simple edit of the buffs XML file, actually. I figured it out looking at in S3PE. But you could easily make pregnancy neutral, or even make it a mood negative (if that is most appropriate for people bringing children into the Scumthorpe world).Personally, I'd like to put some tuning on the pregnancy buff so that the mood effect depends on age of the mother (if you're going to do teen or elder pregnancy, it should be a horrifying and anxiety-inducing experience for the mother, imo), trait scoring, and ideally the mother's relationship to the father (+ if they're married, neutral if partners/engaged, - if enemies or if she's married to someone else). But that will require significantly more coding, and would require additional learning on my part. Jon anderson in the city of angels raritan nj. If I didn't have two qualifying exams and teaching in front of me this summer, I'd commit to it as summer project, but RL is evil.
Still might manage it as an exercise in procrastination. I just felt that the pregnant moodlet always being a positive one A: contradicts things like the Dislikes Children trait, B: wrongly assumes that a pregnancy is inherently positive when it may not be and C: is a weird case of the game undermining itself, since a big part of playing a pregnant sim is supposed to be keeping them happy in order to be able to select the traits when the birth occurs. It's as if the game automatically puts itself on easy mode for them.I'd ideally have it as neutral for most traits, positive for a sim with Family-Oriented (+20 as it is now, thus giving that trait a unique gameplay advantage) and -20 for a sim with Dislikes Children. Perhaps start with that if you're trying to work out how to make a more complex mod along these lines- it could be a good starting point for something related to this aspect of the game. I figure that if I can manage custom diseases for Vector, I should probably be able to manage it. In the meantime, the tuning to neutralize the pregnancy buff is attached.
It's very simple-literally changed one number (from 20 to 0). Just don't use it with anything else that edits the buffs XML file.Re: the game undermining itself, you're right. I'm actually not sure I remember the last time I didn't get to pick both traits for a baby born to one of my households, and my sims make a lot of babies.

This despite mods to increase pregnancy nausea (because I am a terrible person like that), which should in theory make it harder.
Quadruplets??So I started a new family tonight - Lexi and Riley Lennox.Lexi just had quadruplets.Say hello toCadence (boy)Cota (boy)Cody (boy)and Candice (girl)I found it interesting because I didn't use any cheats. In fact, I'm not even sure if there ARE cheats for having twins/triplets/etc.When she had a second baby, I got super excited and made a little boy's room for two.And then. She kept going. I thought it was a game glitch, but she stopped after four.So now I have four new borns to take care of.Is this as uncommon as I think it is?I've been playing the sims for quite a number of years, and I've never come across twins, let alone qudruplets.
I agree with arathea. Twins is normally the most you can get without mods or glitches.Actually, I don't - at least sort of. I remember reading a snippet from one of the Prima guides early on (was available on the EAxis main game site as a preview - probably in 2004 or 2005 as that was about when I stopped going there).
Sims 4 Quadruplets Cheat![]()
It was talking about the chance of twins (10% I seem to remember). It ALSO said that there was a very, very rare chance of triplets (and more).
Now, it's known that the Prima Guides are full of mistakes and inaccuracies and also talk about stuff that was in the game and was taken out before the game was actually released (if you don't know, the Prima guides are written some time before the release of the associated game/EP). Additionally, I think that this effect would be better known if it actually exists given that there are so many Sims players out there. But still, Eaxis did say at one point that triplets and more was possible without any kind of hack.
And also, this is not the first time I've read about a sims player who had triplets without deliberately trying for it with a cheat or hack. So, I dunno - jury's out over here. I had that glitch a couple months ago. A couple who I had hoped would just have one baby girl to add to their family ended up having quints (3 girls 2 boys). I'm positive its a game glitch because people on here said there no mod out there for quints. What happened in my game is just as the woman starting giving birth the dog died at the same exact time. Then the woman gave birth over and over again - freaking me out with each new baby because I had no idea when she'd stop.

Thankfully she stopped at 5.Now they're one of my favorite family. My quints are now genius children. Here's some hints to deal with that family:1.
Have a live in nanny, grandparent, or teen help take care of the babies.2. When they're toddlers immediately proceed to teach them to walk or talk.3. Feed them only smart milk4. If you have it get them an activity table (and make them play with blocks the most)5. Get the babies on the same sleeping schedule.
Twins, Triplets, Quadruplets, Oh My!What you'll need: A female, a male, a house, and a bed. First, Have a relationship with a guy (that you love), marry him, live life and then if your ready to have a child, Do the 'Try for baby' if you can't find it then they're not ready yet, If it is there they'll kiss with a pair of shoes above their heads and then they'll go upstairs and try for a baby. A few days later your female sim will change clothes and get new moods. Your sims (Note: Your sim may leave work) will be rushed to the hospital to give birth, You wont know want gender unless you had the 'Have a girl' or 'Have a boy' wish.
Sims 3 Quadruplets Mod
After going home immediately 'Try for baby' again to have twins, Repeat for Triplets and so on.(They will look alike but differ gender) Hope i helped!:) CheaterMonkey, Nov 23, 2012.
